About my G10

This Van is from the era in the Vanning craze when dealers sent basic vans to Custom Van Shops for modification and then put them on the lot for sale....Note the period correct orange yellow shag, brown Naugahyde and wood bottom Captains Chairs..... Van also has a pull out sofa bed, basic ice box, small closet and finished plywood cabinets.

Van is from Ontario, Canada and was customized in Quebec , Canada by Jac Gui, Van Conversions Division in Chomedy, Laval

Van has original sun roof, and a new period correct Venturi Vent was installed to replace the original UV ravished roof vent.

The roof rack has the Chevrolet emblem in the supports, which went away in later years in favour of generic ones. The ladder is also the heavier original style, as opposed to later largely ornamental later versions.

The van was purchased from the original owner with only 49,000 miles three years ago, and is largely rust free with a small exception on the bottom of the drivers door. The van has the optional bumps and scrapes occurred in 31 years of kids, bicycles and parking lots.

Since then, the van has logged an additional 25,000 + miles, attending over 40 Custom eVANt's from the Mississippi to the Atlantic, Canada to Texas and most States in between....

Thanks Phrog....I came to keep this van the way we found it, as a monument to those poor extinct Naugahyde.....

We really regret the events that led to their death

Mike, been here for a quite a while, but usually lurking....

Do you know your lavish van is one of the reasons that naugas are extinct today if they hadn't been hunted to death for their beautiful leatherlike hydes in the 70's we could view herds of the critters flowing over our prairies producing a plastic like sheen over the whole area.  Oddly enough 49,000 is the exact number of little Naugas that gave their hydes for your interior.
