1997 Chevrolet S10 - 425hp97s10

My son and i built this truck from ground up, for his 16th birthday. I purchased the truck in feb of 08, and gave it to my son on july of 08 for his 16th b-day. we took the truck completly apart, since it had been caught on fire and all the wiring was riped out of the whole truck by the previous owner. we installed a new wiring harness from front to back, new dash, seats, carpet, and door panels. Then built a 425 hp chevy 350, .30 over, forged flattops, balanced bottomend, world product heads, 2.02, 1.60 valves, 50 cc.,comp 284 extreme engery hyd cam, full roller rockers, team g intake, holley 750 double pumper, msd billet dist.6al box, blaster 2 coil. The transmission is a turbo 350 w/ 3000 stall, 4:11 with a spool in a 8.5 rearend out back. He's running full steel braided fuel line w/ a holley hp150 billet fuel pump and fram filter, a 16 gallon fuel cell out back. We painted and body work ourselves with help from great friends. My son drives it to school everyday and the best part is this is the truck that he wanted and the way he wanted it. And he respects it, because he was right there helping build it with me, his dad. happy 16th b-day son.
