That black 77 is a nice van, so I don't blame ya!
That blue 74 is simular (in body style) to my first van. I've had 7 vans in my life- 3 of them Ford's.

I drive a 95 chevy conversion now, but my other van is my 'old school find.' It is a 1976 Dodge shortwheel base - has a wrap around mural that was painted in 76 -old fiberglass flares, 'vantrek' grill and spoiler - shag carpeting with archway, CB radio, ect. I found some plaques in it from van shows in 1976 and 1977. Even did a little research and found an old newspaper article on it from 1977.

It would need a lot of restoration, but I do have it running and although it is in rough shape it still turns heads when you drive it down the road. A friend of mine is working on putting up a video of it on YouTube. It is still un-restored and I'm thinking of keeping it that way - it's a great conversation piece.

Your blue 74 fell into that same catagory - (unrestored)and original. Was it sold locally?

I was going to restore it i was out looking for the new interior when i found the black 77 Van .  For some reason i just wanted the Black Van more so i sold the Blue 74 .
It had the orginal CB and an eight track system as well .
The black Van is not finished off as nice inside as the Blue one is but it has a worked 351 and Old school metal work all the way around .Plus  it Just looks mean ! LOL
Thanks for your comment what ride is yours ?

Hi there! Nice looking van. I love 'old school' vans- I found one myself. Mine still has the shag carpeting and the CB radio with it. It was muraled back in 1976.

Are you going to restore this one or rebuild it? It would be cool to see it restored so that as much of the original work that went into it can be preserved somehow, if that is possible.

Hope to see more pictures soon- whatever you decide.

Cool. As you can see, there are a lot of van enthusiasts on this site. Someone might be able to give you more info on it.
